Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Paw-sitive collects, why, how it is kept safe and the rights you have. We keep it as short and clear as we can. If anything is unclear, please emailhello@paw-sitive.co.uk.
Who we are
Paw-sitive is a trading name of Lebenk Limited. Lebenk Limited is the "controller" of your personal information, which means we decide how it is used and are responsible for looking after it. Training is delivered personally by Menucha Knebel.
Contact: hello@paw-sitive.co.uk
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and telephone number, and how you heard about us.
- Information about your dog: name, breed, age, sex, neutered status, the reason you are seeking training, behaviour history (including any history of aggression or biting) and relevant medical conditions.
- Photos and videos you choose to upload, for example of your dog or of homework exercises.
- Training records: sessions booked, messages between us, homework, goals and progress notes.
- Enquiries: what you tell us in a contact form, an email or a private-client enquiry, which may be sent on someone else's behalf (for example by a personal assistant or household manager).
- Technical information: our hosting provider keeps short-term server records (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the website. When you sign in to the members area, your browser stores a sign-in session so you stay logged in (see our Cookies page).
Please only share what is needed, and avoid uploading photos or videos that show other people, especially children, unless they are happy for you to do so.
How and why we use it
- To provide training and run your members area: arranging and delivering sessions, preparing for them, setting homework, keeping progress notes and communicating with you. We do this to perform our agreement with you (or to take steps you have asked for before entering into one).
- To answer enquiries and arrange discovery calls: this is in our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us.
- To keep business and financial records: for example invoices and booking records, which we are legally required to keep.
- To keep the website and your account secure: this is in our legitimate interests and yours.
We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to marketing lists. Client names, photographs, properties and travel arrangements are never used in publicity, testimonials or case studies without your explicit permission.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Paw-sitive. They process information only on our instructions:
- Netlify: website hosting and contact forms.
- Supabase: the members area, including your account, dog profiles, messages, homework and uploaded files. This data is stored in London, UK.
- Cal.com: the booking calendar, including booking confirmations and reminders.
- Google: our email (Google Workspace), calendar, and "Continue with Google" sign-in if you choose to use it.
Some of these providers are based in, or may access data from, the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
With your agreement, we may also share relevant information with your vet or another canine professional involved in your dog's care. We will share information if required by law.
How long we keep it
- Members area account: while you are a client, and for up to two years after your last session, unless you delete your account sooner. You can delete it at any time under Account settings in your members area.
- Enquiries that do not lead to training: up to 12 months.
- Booking and financial records: six years, as required for tax purposes.
How we keep it safe
Information is sent over encrypted connections. Members-area data is protected by access rules so that each client can only ever see their own information, and uploaded photos and videos are stored privately. Access is limited to the people who need it to provide our services.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information (you can also delete your members account yourself);
- ask us to restrict or stop using your information in certain circumstances, or object to how we use it;
- ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere.
To use any of these rights, email hello@paw-sitive.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
Our services are arranged with adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes that affect members, we will let you know.
