The experience behind the preparation

Experience gained in demanding environments, applied thoughtfully to you and your dog.

Paw-sitive draws on extensive professional experience in specialist dog handling, training and preparation in some of the most challenging environments.

This background has developed a particular understanding of canine behaviour, emotional regulation, safety and the importance of thoughtful preparation, especially where circumstances are unfamiliar or demanding.

Combined with experience working in senior, highly professional and client-focused environments, this brings a considered, discreet and adaptable approach to each arrangement.

The focus is simple: understanding what matters to you, anticipating practical considerations and helping your dog feel confident, comfortable and appropriately prepared.

Equipment, destination & environment

Preparation beyond the journey.

Effective preparation considers more than the mode of transport.

The intended journey, travel equipment, destination, climate and relevant arrangements may all influence how best to prepare your dog. Where appropriate, veterinary or transport-operator input can also form part of the planning considerations.

The aim is to develop a thoughtful, individual approach that supports your dog's welfare, comfort and confidence throughout.

Consistency across the household

A shared approach for everyone involved.

Where a dog spends time across different homes or with different carers, consistency can make a meaningful difference.

Training can be tailored to support family members, household staff and other individuals involved in your dog's care, helping establish clear communication, familiar routines and consistent expectations.

The intention is to create an approach that works naturally within your household and your dog's everyday life.
